Abraham Lincoln by Dustin Luke Nelson

Mondo Bummer 33 is a lesson in American history.

Dustin Luke Nelson's Abraham Lincoln teaches us some new facts about our 16th president. In these poems, Lincoln spends hours fixing his hair, tells stories around the campfire, and takes capture the flag very seriously. ($2) [vol 33]

Impervious Corridor by Jess Heaney

Hey, Mondo Bummer is back and better than ever. And so proud to present MB #31: Impervious Corridor.

Jess Heaney's Impervious Corridor uses a somatic exercise, steady breath, and sheer force of will to rip up the concrete that covers the creek that flows under Oakland. The poem holds dirt in its hand, summons animals and plants and history out of the privately owned land. ($2) [vol 31]

WTF Bummertown

Hey

Mondo Bummer is kind of struggling lately. But you know what? We are hiring an intern.

It's just that we are having all kinds of Weird Life Things (grandmas passing away, crazy travel mishaps, and other equally troublesome but not Totally Horrible problems) right now.

Anyway, send any interns our way (must live in SF Bay Area and be a creative writing student of some ilk or other).

Anyway, we'll be with you soon soon with more killer chaps. Or bad ones. We might publish some mediocre ones too. Who knows.

Love,
Bummerville
